Bay Street Players awards annual need-based tuition scholarships to youth to attend our Young Peoples' Theatre classes. This fund continues the generous legacy of one of our theatre patrons, Ed Dawkins, who earmarked his BSP donations each year to keep the YPT program accessible for all.
Our YPT program averages 242 recurring students per year. Of those children, 85 were awarded need-based scholarships totaling $14,715 in the 2010-2011 season alone. Only with the help of our donors and supporters are we able to look into the future and envision the progress of this important program.

Your monetary contribution to Bay Street Players, a
501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit organization, is tax deductible less the
value of your theatre tickets (if applicable). A copy of the official
