Bay Street Players Corporate Sponsorships offer an ideal marketing arena for reaching highly desirable consumers in the Central Florida area. Each of our 3 separate production series has unique and rewarding sponsorships available.
In our last season -our 36th - we produced 5 MainStage productions, 5 Second Stage productions, 4 Young People’s Theatre productions and 2 special event productions. This was a total of 119 separate performances! The MainStage, the Second Stage series and the Young People’s Theatre productions were the most attended in our history. Over 21,000 patrons from Lake, Orange, Seminole, Sumter, Marion, Volusia, Osceola, and Polk counties attended Bay Street Players performances. Our current 37th season is presenting even more performances and special events.
Bay Street Players is a non-profit community theatre whose mission is to provide entertainment and education for the residents of Central Florida through productions of theatrical arts which allow students and artists to learn and practice their craft. Ticket sales account for just 50% of the revenue required to cover our annual financial needs. The remaining funds are collected through government, business, and individual contributions.
At this time Corporate Sponsorships are more necessary than ever for the fiscal health of our theatre. The State Theatre, Bay Street Players’ grand lady of architecture, is 90 years old. Building repairs and upgrades are a vital necessity to insure this historic performance space continues to be an anchor in our community for another 90 years. We now start the building campaign by collecting funds for our most important need: repair of the leaking roof at a cost of $35,000. Corporate sponsorships of our productions allow us to allot more of our income to capital needs.
It has been shown that arts and culture; “help rebuild Florida’s economy and give our state the competitive edge to attract, sustain, and advance tourism, commerce, a skilled and creative workforce, jobs, downtown and neighborhood revitalization...” (Associated Industries of Central Florida’s Economic Stimulus Package 2.0) Supporting Bay Street Players means you’re not only making a difference to one of Lake County’s cultural gems, but you’re also making a difference in Central Florida.
