Become a Friend of Bay Street Players
The revenue from our patrons’ subscriptions covers only half of our operating budget. Donations are vital for us to continue providing quality entertainment and educational opportunities. Become a Bay Street benefactor by donating to the individual category of your choice.
Julia Nora Vatter Technical Theatre Fund
Established in 2009 to honor Julia Vatter, a young woman who left an indelible mark on Bay Street Players, this fund recognizes her love of the technical aspects of theatre and expressly supports ongoing technical needs.
Ed Dawkins Memorial Scholarship Fund
BSP awards annual need-based tuition scholarships to youth to attend our YPT Classes. This fund continues the generous legacy of one of our theatre patrons, Ed Dawkins, who earmarked his BSP donations each year to keep the YPT program accessible for all.
"The Grand Dame," Deborah Carpenter was a founding member of the Bay Street Players at The State Theatre whose impact on all who have been involved with BSP is unforgettable.
Joseph "Joey" Sikkema was a member of the Bay Street Players family for nearly twenty years, and he remains in our hearts after his untimely death in April 2020. At the request of his family, donations to The State Theatre can be made to continue his memory for years to come.
